Weekend in Eureka

We had the most beautiful weekend in Eureka with my parents, sister, & brother-in-law! I absolutely love how excited the kids get even just for a little weekend trip. They treat it like it’s the most magical vacation they’ve ever been on & I love it.

My dad, Alex, Cooper, & my brother-in-law, Tyler, all work up super early (like 4am) to head out Striped fishing Saturday morning. Apparently they had the worst luck & Cooper was the only one to catch anything.

We shopped, we ate at all kinds of restaurants. We bought tickets for a train ride around the city, like a little tour. When we arrived they said our train was cancelled because the previous train had derailed…yikes. They were all fine, thankfully, but we decided not to stick around & headed to the Onyx caves. The kids absolutely loves the caves & getting a few crystals as well.

Thankful for sweet memories & the best weekend trips with my family.
